I had my first doctor's appointment today. I am 6 weeks due July 27th. I got to hear the heart beat and the doctor said everything looked good. I will go back January 8th and we should find out the sex the first week of February.

Some of our friends gave us this electric truck. They all love it. James already likes to drive crazy like me. Today we started giving Jada driving lessons. It is so funny because she can barely reach the pedal and she isn't strong enough to turn the wheel but she does a pretty good idea. Yes the above shot was taken just before Jada ran them all into the bushes.

This is Kinley the mechanic - she didn't like riding in it the first couple of times she tried but when James held her she loved it.

Kinley has begun biting Jada anytime she doesn't get her way. She also claws at her face and pulls her hair. It's lovely especially coupled with the constant huh uh... uh huh...huh uh....uh huh that they all do (yes even Kinley gets into it) life is oh so peaceful.

These are their Halloween costumes - we have tried to take a picture of them in the dark when they glow but none will turn out.
We had a good Thanksgiving in Duncan. We got to see Granddad and Nanna's new almost finished house. Everyone got to ride the four wheeler and see the horses. We are excited to spend all of our future visits at the farm. When we were pulling into town we saw Granddad driving down the road so we called him to see where he was going and he said to get a hair cut and James said "but he doesn't have any hair???" He has a way of making people feel so good.
James is super excited about Christmas and all the festivies. We decorated on Sunday and tried to incorporate cookie making, hot chocolate, and christmas movies as well as letting the kids be a part of decorating. It was a big mistake...several ornaments were broken, lots of hyper excited craziness and we ended up forgetting to take any pictures. Hopefully they will remember it as all fun. I'm going to need a few days to recover though.
We will be seeing Jada's mom on Friday and I am taking a pack of cards with bible verses on them along with a letter presenting the gospel and my testimony of dealing with depression to give to her. Please pray for an open heart. We are also going to invite her to dinner and to see Christmas lights as a way to minister to her and give her extra time with Jada. We are praying about what the future holds for Jada and our family and we've decided the best option is to get her mom Jesus so she can have the strength to get her stuff together and get her kids back.
