Mallory had her first beater last week when I made thumbprint cookies.

One of her favorite things to do is "dress up" she loves to put on other peoples shoes, shirts, underwear, whatever is laying around. She found this miniature boa of Kinley's and loves to wear it on her head, her legs, her neck, her arm, etc. She even plays peek a boo with it.

Kinley made this hilarious face at the dinner table the other night. Of course once we got the camera she couldn't do it exactly the same but she's still pretty silly.

I checked on Mallory during nap one day and found her like this. If you look closely that is her foot between her face and her hand. She is sleeping on her legs. What she does is sits up when I lay her down but she can't get back down so she gets so tired she just lays over and falls asleep on her legs.

James started Kindergarten today at Hoover Elementary. His teacher is Ms. Orizal. There are about 24 kids in his class. He really enjoyed the first day and is excited to go back. His class has a pet turtle. He told us he got in trouble for talking once because he was telling a boy he really likes that wore a light blue shirt about the spider he saw on Austrailia's Deadliest Dozen that has a red stripe on it's back. (I thought all of his detail was really cute) I was just please to know that he was talking to someone because the last three years at preschool he hasn't talked to anyone until Christmas.

Josh took him to school and when he walked out the door I lost it crying then Josh called and said he lost it after he dropped him off and Kinley asked why I was crying and I said "Daddy and I are sad because James is at school". She said "I'm not sad, I'm happy!" She was a disagreeable mess today, I'm hoping we get used to all this sooner than later.
James has his own locker which is pretty cool for Kindergarten.
Packing James' lunch. I have packed a few for preschool but now that I'm going to be doing it everyday for the next 18 years there was something monumental about.

Every August we go to Rush Springs, OK to meet up with Steve's family and experience the Watermelon Festival.

MMMMM Good!
James ate that whole piece of watermelon and some of the girls'.

Her first taste of cotton candy. She's in love.

She loves the swing! She makes this face every time she swings forward.
Once again James couldn't find it within himself to smile.

The carousel went at mach speed.
Niether one of them smiled the whole time. They looked like they lost their best friends but they both said they had a fun??

Mallory started pulling up last week. Of course the first place she pulled up was in the bath tub which is the only place she isn't allowed to stand. The little toot pulled up about 30 times and I sat her back down each time and she would just stand up and do it again. I'm really glad she is figuring it out though.
