We spent some time in OKC last week. James got to ride in Ford's Gator and he loved it but when it was his turn to drive he almost ran it into the pool - I thought we were going to be able to hold off driving lessons for a while - maybe he and I can get a group rate if we take them together!
James got to help Gigi plant her lettuce and onions. He called grub worms jug worms.
Finally got a picture of Kinley eating her toes, she does it all the time, I can't believe she can squish those fat thighs enough to get her toes up there.
Kinley watching her first movie, she laid perfectly still glued to Praise Baby for 30 minutes, she is going to be good at slumber parties.
We started our foster care classes this week. It is intense. My first comment after the first class was "I FEEL like there is no way I can do this" Josh's was "definately can't happen in our power". We still feel confirmed that God is calling us here but WOW what a job - it will only be because of God's grace and power if someone is helped in our home. I was talking to James about it and asking him what he would do if he his foster brother or sister was mean to him or broke all his toys and he said "I would take him/her to my room and spank him!" We definately have some work to do!

I forgot to add an adorable story. This morning James was sad and he couldn't tell me why. When he is feeling down and we can't fix it I have him praise God. I asked him what he wanted to praise God for... the beautiful day, playing outside, his animals?? He said, I want to praise God for my daddy! AWWW He really misses him during the day.
James and I went on a date yesterday to Woodward Park. He was a polar bear...
enjoying the flowers
Isn't he the sweetest!
Found a cave for hibernation At the end of our date I told him that when people love each other and they go on a date they should tell the person they are with what they love about them. I told him I love how funny he is. I asked him what he loves about me and he said "because your so sweet mommy"! (I think he was thinking of a different mommy?!?!) Today we went to the park and he was feeling brave, he worked every piece of equipment, it is crazy how strong he is getting.
This is Kinley having her first smoke - she hooked up with some awesome dealers at the park in our neighborhood She was obsessed with the sand, it was her first experience with it, I couldn't even get her to look at me.

Kinley rolling over
Revving her engine
James' serious modeling pose
We are just growing and growing around here. Kinley is going from sitting to all fours and rocking back and forth on all fours - I see crawling in our near future! She is also getting two teeth - the second tooth from center on top and one of her middle bottom teeth - she is going to look like a jack-0-lantern. James has not had a potty accident in over two weeks - he uses the potty on his own initiative at school, church, and on errands! He has also learned to snap and put on his shirt by himself. This morning he used the snapping against me. I was on the phone with a computer help person and his TV show went off and he yelled, I told him to be quiet with sign language, then he started snapping (his best snaps yet mind you) and pointing to the TV. I am in trouble!

Kinley has dropped a nap and a feeding, she is getting so mature! She drinks juice out of a sippy and eats cheerios.
James is also getting mature - shaving now!
We saved the best news for last! James got Dirty Al back!!! He went five days in a row with no accidents, including all day at school in underwear today! One of my friends said he needs a potty party, and I said I need a potty party! I don't remember the last time I felt such excitement as I did when I walked onto the playground and saw that James had the same pants on that I dropped him off in. Now lets just all pray that he can keep Dirty Al!!
(He got the truck back when he got out of the bath just to explain the nudity)

Kinley has been enjoying sink baths. She starts with a full sink and by the time we take her out there is about 1 inch of water left in the sink. She also has a new game - to peek over her bumper pad at James in the morning. I heard them playing peek a boo this morning and it was the most adorable thing. It would be really quiet then James would say PEEK A BOO and they would both giggle.
