Kinley has been enjoying sink baths. She starts with a full sink and by the time we take her out there is about 1 inch of water left in the sink. She also has a new game - to peek over her bumper pad at James in the morning. I heard them playing peek a boo this morning and it was the most adorable thing. It would be really quiet then James would say PEEK A BOO and they would both giggle.

I got my dream car! Those of you who have known me for a long time know that I have wanted a suburban since I was 11 - my honey finally bought me one! We've been praying and looking for months and we found the deal we needed today - thank you God - use it for your glory!

She is so sweet
Mountain Man - climbing the dirt hill behind our backyard
Kinley's first swing ride at the park
James, Tristan, Gigi, Grandma Dorothy, Kinley and I went to the Children's Museum in Seminole yesterday. It was awesome, we could have stayed all day. It costs $8/person but it is worth the cost and the drive.
I am going to lock the blog so only people with a password can view it. If you want to view it and I don't send you the info in a couple of days then email me and I will get it to you! We want to make sure we keep it among trustworthy people since we will have a foster child.

We finally got a new computer! This may get a little long since we have a lot of catching up to do. The kids are growing like weeds, James is saying he is hungry constantly, he is eating us out of house and home. Kinley has been well for two whole weeks now - I think that is a record. She is sitting and rolling both ways. Josh's work is going pretty well in spite of the economical storm. We are progressing with the foster care thing, we just did our finger prints and are hoping to start classes at the end of March. James says he wants a 3 year old foster brother or sister so he can play with them all the time. He has been going through and "I can't be alone for two seconds" phase!! There isn't much else going on with us. I will type out short stories below
We went to eat at Ted's for dinner one night and Josh and I got margaritas. James asked if he could have a drink and we told him "no, it has alcohol" he said "well, margaaritas aren't good for your bodies" we asked him who taught him that and he said "I taught myselfes that" He got Horton Hears a Who for Christmas and calls it Horton Hears a Whore! He also said "shutup boob" to me yesterday (lovely line from that movie) He was riding bikes with our 8 year old neighbor and going down the big hill on our street and he had his first big bike crash but he came out with only a couple of scrapes and got back on 30 minutes later. During the ice storm we were leaving walmart and he picked up a clump of ice/snow and threw it at a woman stranger's head! I was horrified! You may remember the story of him driving his trucks through his poop?? Well we have one truck that survived the incident and we told him he could have it when he has had not accidents for 5 days in a row. At the end of January he was on his fifth day two hours from get the truck time. We had a celebratory moment that he had done so well and he was going to get the truck in two hours. Five minutes later he went in his room and pooped in his pants. We were all devestated. He hasn't gotten anywhere near five days again. I cried out to the Lord the other day " I cannot do this forever - PLEASE HELP" You can pray too if you want :) A good James story is that he is learning to give the best hugs and kisses and when Josh and I returned from a weekend away he ran into our arms and loved on us so much we could hardly stand it - it makes all the aboved mentioned stuff easier to take.
Kinley and her fish lipsJosh and James were rocking in the recliner and fell backwards, scared us all to death then we laughed our heads off!
Isn't she beautiful - these were her valentines pictures
James likes to hold her now, but he said he will have to get stronger to hold her for a long time
Kinley's rash and peeling
The morning she woke up with her outfit backwards and one arm out
she was itching like crazy!

Kinley is finally getting better. She is still coughing so hard she throws up but everything else seems better. Today has finally felt normal, first time since early November! Tip for other moms - for lunch James and I had Octopus!! You take a hot dog and slice the bottom 3/4 into 8 strips then put it in boiling water for about 5 minutes. The tentacles curl up and the top 1/4 is the head. James loved it!

The only time she is happy, in the warm bath!
conked out while playing in her crib
We went back to the doctor today. Kinley's cough is worse and is now rashy, still fussy and not eating much, also has fever off and on. Doctor says its RSV and/or Bronchsomthing. He said there is nothing to do but watch her. We feel so sorry for her, she coughs so hard she can hardly catch a breath and when we're really lucky she pukes anything she has eaten. While the doctor and nurse were in the room James asked me to hold him and when he put his head on my shoulder he sniffed and said "mommy you stink bad, you need to take a shower". Gotta love the 3 year olds!

Kinley has Pneumonia! AWWW! She is a tough little booger - she has been showing signs of not feeling well for a while but never anything convincing until yesterday when her fever reached 103.5. We got to spend four hours at the ER last night. Her daddy would like to point out that she waited until 2008 was over (the year that we met our deductible) to have to visit the ER. Already costing him dearly! She is doing better today, they gave her a mega dose of antibiotic last night and sent us home with more. She has held down some juice, and is sleeping a lot.
